Re: European / ROW rear bumper on a USA 1987 951
I also added the Euro turbo bumper on my 89 951 - so much better.
That said, I do have another Guards Red turbo bumper in storage, but would need the solid body mounts.

Re: 85.1 944 heads - choices for this engine
@rheidtman I have an 86 turbo where the timing belt failed. I have not removed the head yet but am planning to do so in June. I was interested in getting an estimate on the cost for a rebuild assuming that all exhaust valves would need to be replaced. please send me a PM
Thank you,

Re: 85.1 944 heads - choices for this engine
For a budget build, a good used head is your best bet. Just have it checked for cracks and resurfaced by a machine shop before you bolt it on. Avoid mixing N/A and turbo heads as they have different compression ratios. A new casting is overkill for your needs.

Sage advice!
Over the course of the last month, I have cobbled together a PS rack/pump test rig and now able to duplicate an on-car situation. I mention this as this as there are, indeed, pumps and racks that simply cannot be fixed - as noted herein.

Re: 2012 Pani turbo S water pump
I own a '15 PTS and have zero issues with my cooling system and have not found them to be problematic.
That said, the 970.1 (MY 10-13) did have issues with the coolant tubes (poor design), as well as t-stats. But, once repaired, tend to be good to go.

Re: Setting Mechanical Throttle Stop - How?
The real key to getting the idle stop properly set is to ensure the throttle blade is perfectly centered. Failing this proper alignment, it will always be out of adjustment. Once satisfied is properly centered (I hold it up to the light to see how much light comes through and uniformity), I prefer ...

Also, a popsicle stick (dating me here) and some 600 grit wet sand paper will also serve you well here...
