Re: Anyone switched out the brake air deflectors on their Cayman/Boxster fior the larger GT3 ones?
No worries as it is easy to forget things like this. Also do you know if the GT4 rears will actually fit the GTS? I know these were talked about in a previous post but nothing on fitment.
If I am not mistaken, the 718GT4 rear brake ducts consist of four separate parts - an upper and lower ...

Re: Anyone switched out the brake air deflectors on their Cayman/Boxster fior the larger GT3 ones?
Ugg, I totally forgot. I even swapped out my suspension springs for a set from H&R last week. In my defense I have all of my garage stuff packed up and stored away, the contractor is knocking the garage down on Thursday. I will keep this on my to do list, got to swap my wheels to track wheels in a ...

Re: Anyone switched out the brake air deflectors on their Cayman/Boxster fior the larger GT3 ones?
Are you speaking of the deflectors that clip on to the front latteral arm? I have a set of GT3 ducts on my parts bin from another project, I can compare them to what is on my GTS.
Just to be sure, can you post a link to an example of what you are talking about?
One thing the GTS does not have ...

Re: 718 Coding using Launch X431 tool
@arne2 In the 981 forums I see that the Electronic Power Steering profile is adjustable and people have been switching to the GT3 profile and report to like the new steering feel. On my 718(982) chassis I have not yet found where this is adjustable. I am simply wondering if this is something you ...

Re: Knee is Rubbing
I also had the same issue at my last autocross event. I am not tall but I am a larger man. My knee was raw and my skin was left in the speaker grill. This past weekend I was at Barber so I just used a knee pad and it worked just fine.

Barber Motorsports Park HPDE
Is anyone planning to attend the Alabama regions HPDE next weekend at Barber Motorsports Park on 9/23-9/24? We will have six cars going down from East Tennessee. It would be nice to meet some fellow forum members while I am there.

Re: What did you do to make your 718 unique?
The APR tune is noticeably better than the Softronic!!
That is great that you found a tune you are happy with. Can you share how they compare and what you did not like about the Softronic? What makes APR stand out?
I always felt like there was more in the car than what the Softronic tune ...

Re: What did you do to make your 718 unique?
I absolutely love my CGTS but I have made some changes in two years to make it my own. I enjoy doing HPDE and Autocross events.

I also have the GT4 side scoops painted and ready for install.
Larry C, I know you have had these on your car for quite sometime now. Is it worth getting them covered in PPF? I figured they would possibly get some rock damage.

Re: 718 Coding using Launch X431 tool
So far with the PIWIS a friend has done the following to my 21 CGTS. I would never have a clue on how to do this at all myself. It amazes me how much that can be done with just a few clicks to activate or turn something off.
Blinker blinks five times now
Actual water temp
Seat belt warning off ...
