M030 Insert Help Please

A buddy of mine has run into an issue that he could use some help with. He's not a member, so I'm asking for him.

He writes...

I need your help regarding information about the front shock absorbers for a 944 Turbo S (Koni M030).
The shock absorbers are worn out, so I need to find new inserts that ...

Re: Bosch iBooster

So this is an electrically controlled brake booster. Typical for EV swaps or similar plug in hybrid vehicles that dont have an ICE engine running all the time that can provide vacuum for the booster.

The questions you would need to overcome would be how to get it to fit to the current bolt ...

Re: Bosch iBooster

Sounds like a great product, especially on the turbo cars. Any idea what the price tag is?

400 to 500 USD from what I've seen on their own but a website I originally found based on an Instagram ad sells model specific kits and universal kits. Most of them are for muscle car and older American ...

Bosch iBooster

Has anyone tried this? I read about these for restomods and AI says it's being done with 07K swap cars but I can't really find anything about this for our cars. One guy that was doing an EV swap into his 944 said it was nearly a direct swap with only having to shave down a bolt by about 1/8 ...

Re: How to Install 996 Steering Wheel in Late Model 944/968

While not a 99x steering wheel, another option is the non-airbag 968 Clubsport wheel. There are several threads around, including Carpokes, on how to install it - easiest if no airbag involved, or adding a resistor in place of the airbag. Passenger airbag stays functional unless you choose to ...

And mad respect to Hank and what he does. Still looking for feedback from anyone that's used them on our motors.

Re: Xona Rotor Turbos

Solid build. For 550whp, the G30-770 is a good choice .86AR for quicker spool, 1.0AR for top-end. Xona Rotors are great too; They’re efficient and smooth, but less common than Garrett.

That’s why I’m looking for people that are running them. They’ve a strong following with 996 and up owners and ...

Xona Rotor Turbos

Who's running one?

My new 3.0 16V turbo build has started. Motor is disassembled and it's confirmed to be a solid motor to build up. Header is ordered, wiring harness and new MaxxECU is ordered from Bas as will be his CF intake. I'm shooting for a 550whp outcome so I can stop being jealous of ...
