Does a Tune Void CPO and/or Decrease Value on Resale?

I was curious if an APR stage 1 tune on a '21 992 S would void a CPO warranty and/or decrease value should I consider reselling down the road (in spring). I was torn on whether to get the tune or not. Love the sound and performance, but not sure if it's worth it if the value of the car will be worth ...

Understood - thanks for the clarification. The Cup 2's are definitely soft but of course on the flip side that means faster wear.

While at the dealership today I asked and my Gold tech go-to friend said that wheel hop was not something that's been an issue he's aware of. He did ...

Re: Wheel Hop = Comfort Tire Pressure?

When I bought the 991.2 CPO from dealer, the Michelins were already installed. I did not track it nor the 992. From my experience with Pirellis on other cars, I’ve always switched to Michelins when the time to replace came. I don’t like how they perform, balance and ride. Cup 2’s are are overkill ...

Re: Wheel Hop = Comfort Tire Pressure?

On the '21, I do have the tire temp gauge, so I do make sure the tires are good and warmed up. Although I don't accelerate very hard from standstill often, the few times I have recently, it's been noticeable. Someone else mentioned bushings in the axels??. Or it could it be the traction control? The ...

Wheel Hop = Comfort Tire Pressure?

Hi all. I'm currently running 34F/38R psi on P Zeros on my 992 C2S and have experienced rear wheel hop when accelerating from a standstill. I recently had car serviced and the shop inflated the tires to 40F/46R which is too harsh of a ride for me. So wondering if the wheel hop is associated with the ...

Re: 992 Wheels

Where in NC are you located and what did you replace with? Do you have actual tread depth for rears?

I found this spec sheet online for the Dongar.

This is not the correct pin out - ground has to be pin 2 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

This was a HUGE help!! Thank you!!! I ended up cutting the USB supply off and splicing it into the power supply and ground. A little ...

I assume the Dongar harness includes a 12v to 5v converter.

You could power this from the switched 12v wires in the blue connector. The ground goes to the clear middle wire the switched 12v goes to the white wire in the blue connector ...

Re: Mini Dash Cam - Install

I have just installed the Garmin Mini 2 dashcam in my 981 Cayman S.
If you have the auto dimming rear view mirror, you can simply tap into the connector in the mirror housing using Dongar Technologies (San Francisco based) adaptor for Porsche (about $40).
It was easy (5 minutes, no kidding) and ...
