Re: Garage Thread

The "carvestone" is not actually tile. It is a poured mixture, then the "lines" are etched in the semi-dry floor, and a different color "carvestone" is squeezed in. Check the website using the link I posted above.

Re: Garage Thread

The company that performed the installation said that vehicle weight isn't a problem. The only restriction (caution) was to let the area cure for five days before putting anything heavy on it. I've had no issues so far. However, with the dark color anything (that's not supposed to be there) on the ...

Re: Can’t set charging for 85% - it always hits 100%?

I don't mean to hijack this thread, but charging my 2020 Taycan-Turbo is a bit of a mystery. I've always charged to 85%, and when the car was new this routinely gave me 246 miles. I've been diligent with the battery recalls, service, and software updates. Now, when charging to 85% I'm only getting ...

Re: Front license plate center or using tow hook?

I purchased the STO N SHO bracket for my 2020 Taycan about a year ago. Texas requires a front plate, but the Porsches look better without them. I did get pulled over, just because I didn't have the front plate. I got away with a warning, but it happened on a road I frequent, and I was thinking if ...

Re: Rarest Colors

I ordered my 2008 911 4S with a custom color - Baltic Blue. The Rennbow site found only one 911 with this color, but it looks quite different than mine.

Re: PPF Issue

Thanks to all for the comments and advice. The car is garaged, only in the sun when I'm driving it. The body shop always calls in a PPF guy - they don't do this work themselves. We'll see how it goes.
