Generic painting does not hold up for any length of time. It's purely a temporary black color solution.

I stated once before, to get them professionally painted cannot be done for a low number of pieces, so that is not a feasible ...

I am not in favor of NOT getting them anodized. I painted the plastic ones with a black flex type paint from Home Depot and it didn’t last after putting them on and off several times. I then talked to a couple paint shops, and they would not ...
