Just a simple welcome from another Cayman GTS owner and you are 100% correct, this is one friendly and helpful site.

One side note, though the rear strut brace is helpful in stiffening the rear body to a degree please do not decide to use as a mount for harness belts as it is not strong enough and would not offer additional safety --- in fact it could be a detriment.

One has to wonder if it is just a political ploy to raise the licensing fees for older vehicles that are currently paying a reduced rate to be listed as " Classic ?"
