Re: 928s4 AC snaffu

Is there an R134a conversion sticker under the hood anywhere?
As dr bob and Tom have mentioned, it's a pretty good bet your system has been "converted".
I use quotations because of the sealant putty on your Drier.
What that kind of tells me is that there may be a good chance the o-rings weren't ...

Re: Suspension refresh questions

No worries. Glad to see they found a good home.

I don't think there'll be too much of an issue with aligning the holes. Be sure to mark (trace) the orientation of the cam bolt before removal. Might not hurt to do the same to the spring plate as well. Then install as removed.

Re: Suspension refresh questions

Just got the bars down off the shelf.
There is a small bit of surface corrosion on one end. A wire brush and some Krylon would probably work wonders.

@spacecad3t

I have a set of bars (25.5mm front and 18mm rear) that you are welcome to. (no drop links though)
I've had them for 25+ years sitting on a shelf in the garage. It'd be great to pass them along if you think you might be interested.

Re: The Travel Thread

Very nice!
I recognize those pictures. I used to work in Frankfurt as well.
I loved driving up and down the Rhein on my time off. You couldn't go more than kilometer without tripping over a castle.

Re: Suspension refresh questions

Thanks for the pictures!

I love the color of your car and those burgandy cloth seats match well.
That's a cool bridge and wonderful views of that small harbor.
My wife and I ventured up that way a few years back. We drove up from RI, up past Bar Harbor and back. Took about a week or so. Wonderful ...

That's waaaay out there.
Are/were you visiting Big Bend NP?
I've spent a bit of time in the hill country and quite a bit NW of Victoria, but have never ventured that far west.

Beautiful car BTW!

Great job all around!
Are you taking the 944 to NY? If so, please post a couple of pictures of your journey.

Classic Car Weekday Driving Ban

I just read this on Newsweek.
Even though I don't don't live in Minnesota, I sure hope this doesn't pass.
