does that green connector just pull straight off? And I would assume that is the one I would need to short between the two terminals on the green part right?

I also have what looks like another pressure switch down there too as indicated by the arrow. Does anyone know what that would be for?

My '86 951 A/C compressor does not turn on - a free local a/c inspection technician told me that there is pressure in the lines but the compressor is not engaging. I would imagine it is a pressure switch preventing it from engaging. I'm just not sure which switch is the one that tells the compressor ...

Well, the leak is fixed. It ended up being the fuel pump itself. It was a bosch pump so probably the original I am guessing. I replaced the pump and all is good now. Thanks for the ideas/suggestions. I actually have multiple keychains so 944m3 , walfreyydo , and Tom if you pm me your mailing ...

Much thanks both of you! I bought just the boot and it came with a clamp and the grease. I'll definitely be pulling the axle out and cleaning/regreasing the cv joint in there.

Should I be concerned with how thin the oil/grease is that is leaking out?
