I installed the frunk protector in both my 987 CS and my 981 GTS, but so far I've not put one in the GRS 4.0. I never found that I needed it in either of the other cars, and so far haven't in this one either. If i get a wild hair sometime and want to throw another hundred or so at my car I may buy one but its mostly for esthetics and not practicality, as I never load up stuff in the frunk, and am super careful about closing the lid. YMMV.

Certainly! 2 fit perfectly with room for 2 duffles of clothes. Our Cayman is the perfect wine country trip car.

I like the hood protection for my peace of mind. Sure, I’ll always be very careful with my Porsche, but errors can happen. Once a well intended friend tried to help me snap on the boot for my 964 Carrera 2 cabriolet; unfortunately, he pulled the grommet snap from the boot and I had to have it replaced by a trim shop. We can’t be too careful with our prized Porsches in my opinion.
