I'm going to Porsche's 2-day Track Experience in Birmingham, AL on October 3-4, 2022.
1. Any feedback or suggestions from those who have gone before?
2. Is anyone else here going?

Go there early and check out the museum. It's just incredible.
Regarding the track... enjoy it.. it's the Augusta of tracks down here in the south. Awesome track to drive, see if the hanging person is still under the bridge
The track is just top notch, and you are getting the best instruction you can with Porsche. I can't add any value there lol.
I won't be there that week, but will be there a few weeks later with CHIN.
I hope u enjoy it as much as I did. Please pet Lucky if u see him.

We checked out Sloss Furnaces, Vulcan Park, Railroad Park, Porsche of Birmingham, Rickwood Caverns, and the Summit, all before the first day of class.
On track, we drove the 718 Cayman GTS 4.0, 992 GTS with and without PCCB, and 992 Turbo S (wow).
Off track exercises, we drove the 718 Boxster GTS 4.0, 992 GTS, Panamera GTS, and Taycan GTS (wow again).
We visited the Porsche boutique shop and Motorsports Museum after class ended on Tuesday.
Awesome experience. And yes, the lady is still hanging under the bridge!

Sounds like you had a great time! I do have to ask though, where is the Porsche Boutique shop? is that the main building for the Porsche Experience? It was closed when I was there last time, but maybe its open again when I go to Barber at the end of the month?
Cheers,
Ryan Cassidy

When you drive in and turn left at the museum, the road curls around to the right.
In front of that security gate, there's a ticket booth type building on your right.
The small Porsche Boutique is on the backside, up on the second floor.

Too late for tigerboy but I just found this thread. Barber is really a fantastic track, first class all the way. Paved paddock, nice restrooms with showers, groomed immaculately, and George Barber is a really nice guy interested in providing a productive track experience.
I haven't driven on it in a while, I sold my last track car and don't do that anymore, but get down for a race every now and then.
One BMW CCA DE I attended found me helping with check-in and we used the boutique area so I got a couple of Porsche T shirts for my efforts.
If you ever are offered an opportunity, I highly recommend trying the track.
