There are a few options to get rid of the airbag warning labels on your sun visors:
1. Remove with alcohol or other solvents - this is messy and often leaves a shadow where the decal was
2. Replace with European sun visors - expensive
3. Cover in leather or Alcantara- expensive

I opted to go with a 4th choice. I found black vinyl decal covers that take seconds to apply. They are strong but keep the same texture as the sun visors. When looking directly at the sun visor, I can’t see the decal - looks like a visor without without decal. From an angle, you can see a subtle decal outline but no worse than after the decal removal method.

Sure, they are ugly, government-mandated, and have virtually no safety value whatsoever, but I've never been bothered by them. In fact, in some weird way, I think I like them. :shifty: I took this picture today of my 2016 GMC truck -- somehow the factory warning tags make it still seem new. 8-)

Bonus question: without looking, does anyone even know what the Porsche warning actually says? It wasn't until I took this picture that I realized the GMC warning was all about not putting a child in front of an airbag....

Boooooo Tom!!

I'm with the anti-sticker crowd! Besides the reasons you mentioned, I have a visceral reaction to the hideous tags. (I repeat myself.)

Not sure how this thread got doubled up. The original message from Larry (OP) is the same in this thread as well as the following from several days ago. No idea how that happened.

There's a before and after pic on the other thread although it's just a generic pic I found online.

In an otherwise flawless Porsche interior those visor warning labels are a distracting eye sore for me so can't wait to get mine covered up.

I've been hunting for a matching label to cover the warning labels, but the Graphite Blue leather has made this a nearly impossible task. Nearly, because I have yet to deep six searching for a matching label....but, I'm getting real close.

Blue is a difficult color to match because the variations are endless.😞

Other than adding a set of Lloyds Floor Mats, matching the Graphite Blue interior has been a nightmare.

An individual at Lloyds was kind enough to send 9 different carpet Ultimate color samples and it turned out #185 (dark grey) was a very close match, as there is sufficient blue to the grayness.

Once installed, my Bride stated she couldn't really detect the color difference. I can, as they are ever so slightly lighter than the surrounding carpet; however, the racing yellow binding around the mats' border (matches the extended racing yellow stitching perfectly) separates the carpet sufficiently, so that it is difficult to detect the difference, unless that is what one is trying to detect. Casual viewers generally won't know.

Thus, anyone with a Gentian Blue interior looking for mats (I am preserving the originals for posterity  ) can get a very close match at Lloyds using carpet color #185.
