For the GT4RS? Do you have interior pictures you could post? Is the deep sea blue inside as dark as the paint of the same color? Or am I thinking of the wrong color?Mojonito wrote: Fri Jan 20, 2023 7:59 pm I’ll put a deep sea blue one in a gt4rs!
And I’ll take lots of pics of it!

One of my friends saw my new CGTS 4.0 for the first time yesterday. He was checking out the interior, with the exterior painted trim, and noted how well it looked. Then he mentioned the mode dial cover and said that was the best finishing touch Porsche did to tie it all together. When I told him the source of the cover was Tom (including the CarPokes story) and not Porsche, he couldn't believe it. They look factory, folks.

I've been struggling about how to distribute these. At first, I was using them simply to help Carpokes attract new members, but that only worked so-so, as many people just came for the free parts and never participated on the forum. So then I tried the post-count 'policy' which helped, but set up a weird dynamic and tension I didn't like. Then there are the people who asked for more than I could reasonably accommodate -- one person asked for 9 covers in various standard and custom colors -- 'since they are free.'
So, after much deliberation, I've decided to start charging $49 each for the 718 mode dial covers, plus $5 shipping (within the US), and will likely give discounts to people who have gone the extra mile to contribute on Carpokes. Folks still need to have a registered Carpokes account to get one, and I may adjust the price after I see how this goes.
Right now, I have a batch of six 718 mode dial covers. PM or email me if you'd like a red one. I plan to do a batch in yellow then Shark Blue next and will post when those are available.

Tom, you've been most generous with the mode dial covers, I certainly appreciate mine, and going forward your price plan is very reasonable, I can only imagine what Porsche would charge! Nine covers?!! I'm at a loss for words.
