All..Ive been a Cayman guy for years..currently have a 2019 GTS which I love dearly. My last 911 was a 997.2. At the ripe old age of 77 I'm going to be a grandfather, and probably will go back to a 911 for more room. I fancy a 911 T, and have several questions.
1. Differences between a 18-19 T and the 2023 model( other than body changes)..hate buying new!
2. Is rear axle steering imperative?
No matter what I get, it will be a manual..

I have a 2018 T. Love it. Don’t think there are any changes for 18 to 19. Only 308 produced for US in 2018 so harder to find. I wouldn’t buy one without rear wheel steering. It is amazing. Be sure you request the DME report for any car you are looking at. There are some bad PO who don’t know how to shift. GL w the search.

Welcome to Carpokes!

I second Pcarnut's good wishes for your car hunt. Also, the 4WS is pretty awesome, so I'd say yes!

I have a 18 and from what I understand there are no major differences from 19 from what I can tell. I have rws but honestly the biggest difference I notice is parking the car in tight spaces. If I had to spec new I may skip it but then again I don’t track the car-it’s pretty much a street car.

I am the complete opposite. I would not buy a car without rear wheel steering. It’s amazing. Just took the car for a mountain run and it’s unbelievable how it carves the road.
