Nice choice for the temp pic for the new 997/996 forum! Reminds me of "Your Business Here" billboards.

Great looking car in a scenic setting to boot! It's a classy and clean build, plus the car appears to be immaculate. It looks brand new!
By the way, welcome to Carpokes - browse around and post away if you care to. Pictures, input, sharing of ideas and camaraderie are what the site is all about. And thanks for posting the pic - I'm sure Tom will take note!

I came within inches of buying a car that looked exactly like that! The PPI revealed some serious driveline issues so I ended up passing and buying a new 991 instead. But your car is a serious beauty. I'm a sucker for guards red, and turbos (and Racedeck)... Have you made power mods?ram_g wrote: Mon Apr 17, 2023 9:17 pm I can’t stop at only one, sorry!!

Who says it’s a 996 OR 991 thing? Get both!Tom wrote: Mon Apr 17, 2023 9:44 pm

(Sorry for the clutter - it’s a happy working garage, not a model home!)
Oh, both cars are fully stock, zero mods, great shape. The 996 has about 90k miles, the 991 about 40k.

I got my first Porsche (1971 914) in 1982. 13 cars later I’m a still a total fanatic. I have the pictured ‘03 Turbo Aerokit and a ‘81 911sc Euro targa wide body. Glad to join this group!
