I like this a lot too.
It looks a lot like a dark version of some kind of racing green. (If i ever get a PTS, one of the darker greens will be near the top of any list.)
Great looking wheels too. Very nice!

Beautiful car. It's a dead ringer for @Crazy Eddie's car. He will be showing his at Luftgekuhlt tomorrow if you are going. If not, he's down here in Silicon Valley and it would be very cool to compare the cars side-by-side. I suspect your interior is a bit more vibrant than his. Yours must be a non-US car, right? The US Silver Rose's all had airbags as far as I know... We did an article on Ed's car in Panorama that may be of interest, linked below for PCA members....
Where is he showing? Any Info?Tom wrote: Sat Apr 29, 2023 2:24 pmBeautiful car. It's a dead ringer for @Crazy Eddie's car. He will be showing his at Luftgekuhlt tomorrow if you are going. There's always more to the story than those of us who don't know suspect. Thanks for the data!Pefa wrote: Sun Apr 30, 2023 1:39 amblueline wrote: Sat Apr 29, 2023 11:47 amI am amazed at all of these superlative colors on the 944's being pictured on the thread! Many on this forum already know but for those who do not here is an update on the 944 Turbo S option code M758
When Porsche in 1988 introduced the 944 Turbo S it was released in this color and interior pictured. Porsche called it "Silber rosa" hence Silverrose in english. Fantastic color!
Also the very unique interior for the Turbo S was named "Studio" and was later available in other Porsche models but in different shades.
Most Turbo S cars had this colorcombo but other colors was produced aswell.
The 944 Turbo S was introduced as a "streetversion" of the racecar 944 Turbo Cup and had alot of updates compared with the regular 944 Turbo. Updated engine internals (engine code M44/52) bigger turbo, adjustable Koni suspension, stiffer bushings and larger torsionbars and anti roll bars, bigger brake calipers and rotors and the list goes on.
Many of the features on the 1988 Turbo S was transferred to the standard 944 Turbo in 1989 and onwards but the only "True" Turbo S cars was the ones produced in -88 with the M code 758. These cars are now collectibles and command prices thereafter. The Turbo S was produced in 1635 units.
I read the article about Ed's car when it came out in Panorama. It is a great story and a stunning car! Mine is nowhere near as clean. It was previously used as PCA club racer and I restored it for street use. As part of this I swapped the cracked dashboard with a good used pre-airbag one and installed the matching steering wheel. Would indeed be very cool to meet up and see Ed's car in person. I was out of town and couldn't make it to Luftgekuehlt unfortunately...Tom wrote: Sat Apr 29, 2023 2:24 pmBeautiful car.
