I’m debating this right now. I’ve talked to my Porsche mechanic and he’s a fan. Apparently you can take it down about an inch without any problem, but you will likely need an alignment. The wheel well gap is ok but I’d like it tighter and I’m a believer that “altitude is attitude”
Anybody else lowered their car? Any issues?

It’s way better lowered… also depends on which lowering choice you go. The H&R springs is a safe bet. I had them on my last Porsche…. My new one has coilovers…. Sometimes I like the simplicity of
Just springs.. alignment is forsure or you’ll kill your tires

Definitely lower it! Just keep in mind that you’ll probably also want adjustable rear track rods so that you can keep the toe within spec.

It's like 911's were designed to be lowered...

My 991 version was lowered with H&R springs, AND wheel spacers. Really fills out the wheel wells nicely.
What I consider; perfect "stance" for a 911.

My 991S has TechArt coils. Subtle lowering but makes a noticeable difference.

I installed H&R coil overs. Dropped it just over an inch.

Another good look at lowered! This thread has drawn out some "fill the wheel well" fans, for sure.

With it lowered an inch, did you experience any fender liner or other tire rubbing while on track?

The US M030 996 sits about an inch higher than ROW spec M030 cars. Is this true for the 997?

Can you simply install ROW M030 spec springs on US M030 cars, or do other bits need replacing too? Anybody done this mod?
