That's a great Porsche history Jim! We're happy to have you - glad you found the site and joined up.

Please feel free to post pics and stories of your cars, both past and present. Carpokes hosts photos internally which makes it much easier, so no limitations. Browse around the different sub-forums too - there's a lot to see and read.

I know this subject line is 997/996 but I thought I’d share a pic of my ‘81 Euro 911sc. I’ve decided to never sell another Porsche. Every time I’ve sold one of my cars they have gone WAY up in value. I’m still pissed at myself for selling my ‘69 912 5-spd with only 33k miles for $5,000 back in the early ‘90’s. I sold it to buy a mixing board. How silly! And my wife tells me I shouldn’t have regrets 🤣

Nice!

$5k for the '69 912 - my goodness. :( To be able to turn back the clock on occasion, even for just a few moments, would be glorious. However, since we have no time machines, your wife's advice is correct - outside of the learning aspect, regrets serve little purpose.

Here are a few of my favorite 996. Since the ims is such a concern, maybe use that one for the channel?

LOL! I'm tempted to take you up on that! Is that the TunerRS pressure fed IMS?

Welcome to Carpokes!
