Found this on Amazon. Aluminum clock ring. Comes with two sided tape for a super simple install. Looks great and matches my interior stitching and gauges. Should compliment the mode sleeve I ordered!

That's weird, I updated it last night but apparently forgot to post the final. Thanks for doing it. I'll update the list in the first post asap. I'll also get some lenses ordered....

The bezels are 3D-printed, but use custom CNC-cut acrylic lenses I did just for this. If there's enough interest, I'll gear up and make a batch of the lenses so I can offer a kit. My goal is to keep the whole kit under $60....
Tom, how will the lights work with this setup? I was painting one cluster to get it ready for the gauge bezels and thought, ok, and how am I going to light this without having a reflection from the light source on the acrylic?

Thanks

I'll take some pictures this weekend, but initial testing seemed to show it has little to no effect. Nevertheless, I'm also working on a simple LED upgrade that is currently bright enough to do surgery under. Need to tone that down. There is no glare either way, presumably because of the up-lighting location of the light source.

I also make an led strip kit for 944/968 that is I believe the perfect setup for the cluster and dimmable, connected to one of the oem bulb connections.
I just believe we would need to have non reflective acrylic (like the one used by art galleries), or a white light diffuser on the three light sources, so it would not be a "light spot".

Ah, I didn't realize you sold a kit. Looks like a nice set up. Didn't mean to step on any toes! If I do end up offering a kit, it will be optimized for these gauges and at least initially I will likely only offer them with this gauge kit. The approach I'm currently pursuing uses a slightly different technology and placement, so some of the traditional challenges based on the original 3 light tunnels don't apply and/or are different. I'm fairly obsessive about things, so will pay close attention to avoid glare and/or the spotlight look. And it bears repeating that I did check these gauges with factory bulbs, and saw no glare and the same fairly dim illumination you get with the traditional gauges.

You are "fairly obsessive" lol
And no worries, you are not stepping on any toe. I just want to be of help if I can.
I am loving the idea thus started thinking of how to get it right. People never understand how much effort goes into the r&d of things that look very simple once finished.
