Excellent Jeremy! As I mentioned, a big improvement in the look!

I'm having a set of Soul Performance resonated OAP's that have been Jet-Hot coated put on the GT4 as we speak. New 19" Apex forged wheels are finally going on for the first time too. (I wanted to use up the MSPC2's that were on the 20" OEM wheels first.) I'll let you know how the OAP's sound but I already know that they will be an awesome improvement.

Was going to add the Cargraphic valve controller from Flat 6 but think I may go a step further and go with M-Engineering's 718 GT4 tuner flash via Flat 6 which also solves the PSE issue (true on or off) in addition to improved throttle response, fuel/air ratios, etc. M-Engineering is an excellent German company who has worked closely with Porsche at times. As I understand it, there are ex-Porsche engineers in the company but I haven't verified that. Their Porsche tune expertise is with 718 GT4/GTS and 992 GT3/Carrera S & GTS/Turbo & Turbo S. All flashing. No ECU removal, no device to keep in the car - just an easy, simple flash.

NICE!

I added those same resonated OAPs a few months back, the fit is excellent. Good quality product. Reused the stock gaskets and a mix of the SOUL hardware and the OEM hardware. I also painted part of the muffler black around the exhaust tips because from the back you have the black valence, the bright metal muffler then the black exhaust tips. That did not work for me visually.

Side note: The rear brake lines are close to the catalytic converts, next time I am back there I plan to add some heat shielding around the brake lines to block the radiant heat.

Side note2: Prior to adding the OAPs I installed the Softronics tune and that is the first time I played the valve control strategy. I first ran it with valves either always open or always closed. With the stock OAPs the drone was tolerable but not comfortable on the highway. Once I added the OAPs the drone was not-tolerable to me so I adjusted the Softronics tune to go back to the factory strategy of closing the valves from 1800-3800 in all conditions. Now this works for me!

People say you can choose different gears to "drive" around the drone but that did not interest me, I want to be in control, not the drone.

Let us know how you like the OAPs, you may want to saftey wire your valves always open and always closed and drive around a bit in each mode till you get a solid understanding what what each is like. Of course, post pictures of the car in the track wheels as well.

Will give feedback on all aspects, although it may be a few weeks. I haven't purchased the tune yet but plan on doing that maybe next week. I'll be on track in two weekends so there will be more to add then.

As for pics, well, I need to clean the car. It's nasty with rubber, grime, etc. from multiple track days and general driving around - I've been remiss on the cleaning side of things. Maybe the new wheels will give me impetus to get her cleaned up!

Similar to you, our BGTS could stand detailing more often than it gets (no time and no enjoyment of the task). Fortunately, you'll find (if you haven't already) cleaning the wheels, calipers, wheel wells, and the other normally obscured hardware is easier and less time consuming when the wheels are off the car. These days I pretty much only do this when swapping wheels from road to track or vice-versa.

I'm with you 100%. I can detail pretty well and have what I need to do it correctly but same as you there is too much else going on and too little time, so it either gets put off or left for others to do. (My preferred method  )

What is that funky beige building in the background that spoils a perfectly beautiful picture of a stunning white Cayman, haha!

Welcome to Carpokes -- where Porsche owner's sit tall in the saddle, spur on their friends to join in the camaraderie, enjoy horsing around, and if you get us around the campfire we will tell stories of racing and autocrossing that will put fishermen to shame.
