Not as colorful as my last P-car, the Miami Blue Targa GTS, but too much Yellow might have even too much for me!
Very nice! Sorry if I already asked but did the knee pad come with the car or did you add it? Also, where did you get the dash (above glove box) ‘Spyder’ emblem?
Thanks,
Larry
The knee pad is a mousepad I got on fleaBay, which I attached with velco..could not drive without it. And the Spyder emblem is made out of metal from a guy in Russia who does custom emblems.

After perusing the “718 Photos” thread I noticed that most of the photos were exterior shots. Due to the popularity of the thread, I decided to start a 718 interior thread. This is my 2022 Cayman GTS 4.0 with a black leather interior and chalk deviated stitching. I added the GT4 RS PDK shifter, Nine-Volt MagSafe charger and the iconic Carpoke’s drive mode knob cover in chalk. Let’s see those interior shots!

I’m wondering if they make those shifters for 992’s, I can’t stand the little electric shaver

By any chance do you have links for both the mouse pad / knee pad (is it leather?) and the Russian dude? How did you attach the dash emblem? Is the adhesive leather friendly?
Thanks,
Larry

https://www.facebook.com/lascutru/ He made me a lot of custom emblems over the years for my Porsches and Harleys. I do not plan to remove it from the leather trim in the car so I just used some 3M adhesive I had.
I do not recall who I got the mousepad from since I got a couple of years ago but I am sure you can search and find them - I can get you the size if you like but just measure how much you want depending on your seating position.

Danny,
I could be wrong but I think the 992 has an electronic mechanism. I don’t think the GT4 RS or GT3 PDK shifter will work.

Yours looks like the perfect size. When you get a chance please let me know the dimensions.

I didn't much like the looks of the shaver when I first saw it but I got used to it quickly. I like it fine now, but I realize that's a very subjective, personal view.
Basically, as a simple fly-by-wire electronic device, its only real use is to choose forward or reverse. It's not even necessary for Park, as a button now takes care of that. With the paddles, I can do much more and more quickly too, so for me it made the diminished size of the mostly unnecessary appendage a good thing. Again, as my personal observation, it better fits the look and functionality of a very modern car and cabin.
But now I'll reverse that supposed logic and become hypocritical ( ) when I mention the lament of how much I'm going to miss a real analog tach on the 992.2 cars...one of the last vestiges of times gone by.

Shark blue- shark blue factory wheels and shark blue interior trim and shark blue roll bars - with chalk interior. Dealer manager called and refused at first to order the Shark blue wheels - but they finally let me select that option. Interior has guard’s red seat belts and chrono and the red fire extinguisher.
