Picked up my new Cayenne S in Algarve blue a couple of weeks ago. Really like the colorblueline wrote: Mon Nov 06, 2023 9:17 pm This is a pic of a new '24 Cayenne color - Algarve Blue Metallic - in a somewhat similar shade and color to Ocean Blue Metallic. (Just finalized build for ours in Algarve last week. Due here March 1st.)
I like nice blues.

I know probably stupid question but in case anyone knows of a dealer opening to sell an allocation for a build of a 718 SRS please let me know
Of course so far only getting the “usual” 100k over MSRP replies

That's great to know Sean - makes me feel even better, although like you, I love good blues and Algare Blue Metallic looks like a good one.murphsea wrote: Fri Nov 10, 2023 2:57 pmPicked up my new Cayenne S in Algarve blue a couple of weeks ago. I have a short list of PTS blues and greens - hoping Porsche releases PTS for 911's again soon.
Meanwhile, our Algarve Cayenne has been bumped up to a mid-Feburary delivery.

That's a steep ADM. Wow. Prices on the secondary market are losing a bit of the speculative steam but I doubt that's the case yet for any Spyder RS's. Maybe patience and a softer market will pay off regarding ADM before the model is discontinued.chrispe wrote: Fri Nov 10, 2023 3:23 pm I know probably stupid question but in case anyone knows of a dealer opening to sell an allocation for a build of a 718 SRS please let me know

That’s the hope Tim.
Would love to be able to place an actual custom build as this is supposed to be the family forever car, so finger crossed it becomes somewhat reasonable at some point.
Is it already clear when the 718 SRS will be discontinued/last build?

I haven't heard anything, but the fact that the only ICE 718's that can be had nowadays are the 4RS and the Spyder RS makes me think that 2024 model year will probably the end.chrispe wrote: Fri Nov 10, 2023 5:02 pm That’s the hope Tim.

2024 will be the last for Europe as it doesn’t meet the new cybersecurity regulations from what I understand. I would GUESS it will sell until 2025 in USA.

It’s crazy but ever since I got the v8 cayenne with the pdcc, ras, and other go fast bits I almost never drive the rs anymore. I cannot fathom how a 5000lb pig can be so engaging.

Which Cayenne did you get? I'm thinking a Cayenne may need to replace my pick-up as my daily driver....Mojonito wrote: Mon Dec 18, 2023 7:46 pm It’s crazy but ever since I got the v8 cayenne with the pdcc, ras, and other go fast bits I almost never drive the rs anymore.
