Any recommendations for a good compact electric scooter or pit bike that takes up minimal trunk space, but adults can use? I'd love to have something to use for SCCA Nats (Lincoln is huge!), other out-of-town autocrosses, and just getting around my neighborhood. But trunk space in my Boxster is also incredibly precious on those long road trips.
I bought a kids electric scooter one year and like it as a concept (and I worked out a way to mount a cooler to it to do double duty as both a seat and a cooler), but it was underpowered and just couldn't handle the weight of an adult. And still didn't fold as small as I'd like.
Compact pit bikes?

That would be great if it fit in my Boxster! Also, $1400? Alas, space limitations (and budget) drive some compromises. Something about the size of an old-school unpowered razor scooter but with an electric motor capable of hauling an adult would be perfect.
hmmm... Caroma 250W is on sale for Black Friday and has good reviews. But it's hard to tell if it fits in a Boxster trunk. Anyone here have any experience with it?
