I love seeing these pictures of the 924/944/968s , as they are still gorgeous machines so many years later. They may not have the more predominant design many associate with Porsche, but I feel their design can stand alone as a very beautiful automotive shape.
Now, those of you who race one, don't be shy and share any track videos with those of us on Carpoke's who are also track rats ( of course that could be almost all of us , ha ).

i cant add .MOV files so they had to be zipped. Nothing crazy just some autocross. Also I am running All Season tires hence the tire squeal.

Well, next time around you need to slap on some of the new 200 TWR rubber. The 924/944s etc. are so light and easy on tires , you will get good wear and your times will increase dramatically. Key rubber to check out in your future;

1. Bridgestone RE71RSs
2. Falken RT660s
3. Nankang CR-Ss
4. Yokohama A052s
There are some others that are a bit less sticky that are still a big improvement over your current, though more for Endurance racing or HPDEs.

Thanks for posting ! Reminds me of a good friend with a 944 who raced against me in my RX7 4 decades back. We would trade off and it was amazing how close the two cars were on an autocross course.

Here's my recently acquired 1989 2.7! Would love to go out with my proper camera to a more scenic spot, but we got snow right after I got it, so now that the roads are all salty that'll have to wait until spring, boo!

Here's mine, 1985 type 2. When I bought it 2 years ago, it still had a real 1980's car phone antenna. I replaced it with a FM/DAB+ antenne, used with a new retro Blaupunkt SQR 46 Bremen radio. The car needed serious maintenance, I replaced all shocks, front control arms, front wheel bearings, intermediate steering shaft, brake rotors and pads, water/oil cooler gasket, oil pan gasket, motor mounts, inner door panels, mirror adjustment motors, headlights, etc etc. Still plenty of work to do.

Nice shot, as it shows off the profile and regardless of what Porsche ( or any vehicle you own ) the lines of the 944 are Classic in their own right. Just a stunning silhouette imho!

This is a Porsche 933 D/Prod chassis with a 4V 944 engine. Back in the day it was quite quick. There were many FTD laps, and it embarrassed all the turbo cars. Great handling car, 1980 lbs. wet. If I posted this photo before, I apologize. I just ran across it again. MM
