Fantastic, now contact your Sales Agent to find out which Auto Transport Ship your baby is on. He/She may not know yet, but that should let them know you are wanting the shipping info the minute it is available.

Congrats, I know I found it a fun and exciting time when my Cayman was loaded and then on it's way.

Great news for you also , 71eh, the end of January 24 seems to have plenty of good news going around!

Ahhhh TYD. So, the Cayenne left Emden on Jan 5th traversing the Atlantic at a max of 14 kn - school zone speed.

As I recall it took roughly 15 days to reach the Davisville port in RI. Was there for about 5-days, which was longer than originally thought. It then sailed to Sparrows Point port near Baltimore at the same snail's pace. It left there on Jan 26th heading down the East Coast. It's now a bit south of Miami roughly 100 miles off the FL coast.

Unfortunately, the day the boat left Sparrows Point, MD, TYD removed the estimated Feb 3rd arrival date at the dealership from my TYD page and replaced it with the following: "The next milestone is in sight" "Stay tuned for more details. Your dream is about to reach the next milestone."

Why? Well, instead of heading to Houston, the ship's masters apparently decided to go to Mexico first, so she is now on the way to the port of Tuxpan on the Mexican Gulf, an approximate 6-day voyage from Sparrows Point. I was thinking a lack of mooring space or possibly some kind of weather diversion prompted the voyage change but those are just wild guesses.

So, it is scheduled to be at the Mexican port on Feb 1st, assuming it's not late as it has been for every other port so far. After unloading there for an unknown number of days it will presumably head to Houston where our Porsche will finally be unloaded and trucked to Tennessee.

This really doesn't matter much to me as it's not unexpected. What a shipper decides to do is entirely up to them and I have no doubt that the reasoning is solid.

All of the above is just to say that it's good to expect the unexpected when it comes to the actual arrival time of your P-cars. They may show up early, on time, or late! (As long as it's not "never", I'm good. )

A couple of years ago my first 911 arrived at my dealer on a Friday as we were leaving for a month long vacation on Saturday.

The dealer kept it in their parking garage until I returned.

This may happen again - we are leaving for Spain for a month on March 8 - the new 911 may or may not have arrived by then 🥴🥴🥴

You might make it this time - looks like you have about 5-weeks. My guess is a "yes"!

I would agree with blueline, as they drop anchor in Jacksonville and that should be a quick trip to a Dealer in Georgia. But if it doesn't make it you will have a nice present waiting from you when you return from Espana!

Most stop at Jacksonville but interestingly, my boat skipped that port as it heads to Mexico, after which it will (hopefully) sail to Houston.
