992 and Taycan Bezel Wait List....

I'm still super interested in a green one (any green close to mamba will look good-enough I think) for my Taycan if you're still taking offers More than happy to cover costs or return the favor if I can help with anything.

I just saw your walk around video too, and took a quick look at off-the-shelf spray paint colors. It's your call, but I don't think we do that car justice with a standard green spray paint. For about $35, I can get a can paint matched to the Mamba paint code. Or I could send you an unpainted one and let you paint as you like?

I'd definitely pay the $35 for the paint matched I don't mind painting it, but I'd typically rate my painting jobs a C- at best lol.

Just FYI, I went to the paint shop today and got a can matched to Mamba Green (and a bunch of other colors). Unfortunately, mamba only comes in a base-coat, clear-coat, system. So I'll give it a try over the weekend and see how it works. The nice thing is that the clear will also be useful for some of the other Porsche colors that only come in base/clear....

Did a little painting today. The base/clear for the Mamba Green for @amelen worked really well I thought. I don't have a Mamba Green car to compare it to, but it's matched to the Porsche code and seems right based on internet pictures. Also did my first matched set of Tach and SC bezels in "Shark Blue" (aka Rustoleum Sail Blue) for @Hawk and they looked great so far. The tach ring has a lot more surface area, so harder to get a perfectly uniform finish without nibs, etc. but for doing them in my garage without a proper paint booth, they look pretty good I'd say.
