Haven’t posted in a while, just wanted to follow up on my project, over the winter I finish swapping over to a microsquirt stand-alone and coil on plug setup. Got her running over the weekend, so far I’m on my 4th revision of the tune, running 17.5psi goal is to eventually bring it to 25psi. Like I was running on M-tune…. Micro squirt is in the megasquirt family. I’m running waste spark with hyabusa stick coils and Batch fuel inejection. So far so good, Tuner studio and mega log viewer have been awesome for tuning software.

That is a clean engine bay. Looks great.

Does the drivability differ in any way from MAF or very similar? I’m assuming you are using MAP?

It’s feels much better, more like a modern cad, smooth power, but that might also be because I have way better tuning ability with this software

Awesome! I am in the middle of this myself and will be back to tuning once I solve the oil pan gasket leak.

I had it to the point of running (completely stock except for coil packs and injectors) before the leak.

Looking good. I wondered where you went -- looks like you've been busy! Are those 3D-printed coil holders? Is that system capable of sequential injection? I would be temped to try it if so.

Im always around tinkering with something! Yea they are 3D printed from another 944 member, I forget the material but it should hold up well to engine temps. The micro can do sequential ignition but you’ll loose some inputs/outputs, if you upgrade to megasquirt it has full capabilities without the loss of any IO to run full sequential fuel and ignition. From what I’ve read there really is no major performance loss in running batch fuel, and wasted spark. Just a slight difference in idle quality. The setup im running is wasted spark and im running an external ignitor for the coils.

Did you print the coil holders yourself or are they available to purchase from the creator?

I purchased them as it’s way better than anything I could print on my old Ender, you can contact him on Facebook see photo. Just let him know I sent you.

Get yourself a Bambu Lab printer and never look back. :) Here's a short video I did testing ABS under the hood. It held up fine, though was safely away from any direct heat sources. I also have a Formlab resin printer, and could do a run of those in Rigid 10k resin, which is hard as rock, chemical resistant, and good well over 400F. Can't remember if M O'd has made his way over to Carpokes yet though? Set up cost to do that resin is pretty high, so would need to make half a dozen or so to make them at a reasonable price.

Hey Tom, completely off topic, but I was doing some reading and internet searches and noticed you got the factory boost gauge working with a Arduino, you wouldn’t happen to have a link sharing that build and the code would ya? I’d like to get mine running and have a spare Arduino sitting here
