No pictures of those parts on their website. Incidentally I have a shark-motorsport gearbox linkage on my car. Nicely made part.Pumba1983 wrote: Mon Mar 11, 2024 8:18 am https://www.shark-motorsport.de/ has an adapter to fix them. I drive those in my 1986

You can request images from Frank Skrzypinski; frank.skrzypinski@shark-motorsport.de. I was interested in his short shift gearbox linkage kit for the 968 trans but was told that it does not fit the 951 due to interference with the gas tank, which is slightly different than the 968 version. I believe it will fit if the rear trans mount is lowered to avoid the interference. In the end I decided if I do get around to installing the 968 trans, I'll be using the stock Porsche parts.blade7 wrote: Tue Mar 12, 2024 6:35 amNo pictures of those parts on their website. Probably cheaper for Porsche to fit uprated ducts to the 968, than the bigger MO30 discs and calipers from the 250 turbo. Someone gave me a set, so I may as well use them.333pg333 wrote: Sat Mar 23, 2024 3:34 pm I'm curious why people want these brake ducts? Can't imagine they're required for a street car. On the track with multiple laps, sure, but on the street...are you getting overheating and fading?
That's possibly a fair point although I suppose people have to be running out of brakes before upgrading them. Well, then again, that's wrong too. People can do what they want of course. However if we're using actual reasoning then I'd rather see a cause/effect before changing certain parts. The 968 ducts are harmless enough, although I suppose it's possible that they could redirect pebbles and other small detritus to get jammed in places that aren't required. I'm still interested in what the OP's reasons are all the same.
