My Miami Blue 2021 GT4 6MT. It had his third birthday and turned over 29,000 miles this month. I have no idea what comes next. I love the 718's mid-engine handling, the size, and how comfortable it is with 18-way seats. I guess I will just have to drive it forever.
The "drive it forever" sounds like a good plan. (Love the emphasis on "drive"!)

blueline, In three years Papa Smurf (his plate is POP SMRF as we only get seven letters in Ohio) has been to California twice, Florida, New York and this month we took a 1200 mile trip to Greenville, SC to see a display of the first 100 years of BMW motorcycles. Total trip time: 34 hrs and 10 minutes from door to door. In January. Through the mountains of West Virginia. We did have Michelin Alpin winter tires so that make the trip seem sane.

@eladoppei Love the resolve to simply drive it forever!

Can you share any information on your spare tire mount? ;)

J-dub, I use Seasucker Monkey Bars which are held on the car with suction cups. I mount them on the rear window because i have paint protection film on the top of the car and Seasucker says the suction cups will pull the PPF. I would mount them on the roof if I didn't have the film. I had them on for 18 days straight and over 6,000 miles on my last trip and only had to pump them up (down?) once a day to keep the suction tight. They work great and are rated for something over 1,000 lbs.

Found a nice, very well equipped 2021 GTS w/19,500 miles last month and decided to get it while the getting was good. Black on black with satin black wheels. Everything is black including interior trim, model designation on the back and sides, etc. It's a nice Cayman and a great driver which is how it will be used.

It had never had any PPF, no ceramic, no paint correction and possibly never even waxed. There were lots of swirls in the paint, a few very small front chips - early oxidation wasn't far behind. The paint was definitely in need of TLC. However it was properly serviced by Porsche, the interior is pristine and the car very well cared for otherwise. All new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S too with 9-months of factory wty remaining plus 2-years CPO after that. It drives and runs like a dream.

The exterior was good to go after several days of paint correction, ceramic, track pack PPF, UV clear tint and other. It will be stored in the garage or carport, so no continuous harsh weather exposure from now on. It will be well-cared for in its new home!

Prelim pics.
