I also installed Brembo ceramic brake pads to reduce dust. [no pics]

Hey Glad it worked! Looks great!

It was such a "eureka!" moment.. I had a bunch of different sizes laying around from my engine cover guy sending me a whole bunch to try out... I was just messing around with one, placed it over the SD card reader and boom, it was a perfect fit! Long story short, I had a whole bunch made to share with everyone on Carpokes with the help of @Larry C sending them out.

Can't wait to see others!

Carbon Fiber Foot pad is all done. Just waiting on the rubber nubs for my foot.

My Dummy key is finally complete! I was never a fan of the plastic feel every time I start the car, so since I LOVE Race-Tex/Alcantara, and a few accents including my steering wheel are in Race-Tex/Alcantara, I decided to get Frank from Exclusive Option to make a custom dummy key to go with my interior theme.

Outer is Red Race-Tex/Alcantara
Inner is Black Race-Tex/Alcantara

It's being shipped right now, should have it in a week or so.

On Saturday and Sunday we did the Prince Edward County Porsches and Wine Tour with PCA Rennsport and UCR (Upper Canada Region). We had about 30 Porsches on Saturday. Very much a fan of these PCA events !

Nice! I gotta give some of these PCA cruise events a try some day. Our region does a full slate and they always fill up quickly.

Thanks! Looks even better in RL apparently. Can't wait to get them in. I am attempting to wrap all the pieces I touch in Alcantara (Steering wheel obviously already, dummy key, selector, door handles, sun visors, etc).

@71eh What have you done with your Gas Cap? Do you have one of the special editions or have you detailed the stock cap? I was thinking of painting the raised lettering white.

I have yet to venture over to my gas cap. I wanted to do something different... Still not sure. I had a cool red leather bib, but it honestly got annoying trying to fold it in every time I fill up ha.

Painting the raised lettering would be a cool touch... hmm

Was also thinking of just buying this machined aluminum one... Kinda cool looking.

Installed the Carpokes plate mount.
I think the instructions call to mount the pads to the car and then mount the plate to the car. I flipped this. First, I aligned the mounts to the plate and plate frame, screwed all those parts together where and how I wanted the pads to align.
Mounting the pads to the back of the plate and frame BEFORE adhering the pads to the car. This ensures everything is properly aligned.

Then I peeled off the 3M tape covers, lined up the plate assembly, and adhered the mounts to the car. After that, I unscrewed the frame and plate to doublecheck proper adherence of the pads to the car.
