Just when I think I am done with my Spyder I think of something else to do:

Nice. Did you paint them yourself? I tried to do the center caps on my wheels once, and it didn't do so well....
No. my talents are usually limited to just thinking of things to do! Carrerra East Studios made them for me...10 month wait. And I am still waiting on a matching set of wheel center caps.

Oh good. That makes me feel ever-so-slightly less inept as a painter.

@Bob Z I love the detail and color of the Porsche crests but I thought the crest was supposed to be on the hood only? Is the hood crest a direct fit for the OEM? Can you describe the removal and replacement process? I think a black and silver crest might look cool on my GT Silver hood.Bob Z wrote: Mon Jan 31, 2022 7:55 pm Just when I think I am done with my Spyder I think of something else to do:

Who says?! I customize my cars and do what I like! I had on the rear bumper of my last P-car, a 2019 Targa GTS. Here is one that he makes you may like, and Google "replace Porsche hood crest" and you will see how easy it is: https://www.ebay.com/itm/203796510692?h ... Ok, I'll ask, which end is the hood on the 718? The rear? Both my Porsches have the emblem where Bob put his, so it looks natural to me there. The engine 'hood' on the 992 Turbo S is barely more than a hatch door for oil and washer fluid. Why have an actual hood when there's no dip stick after all...
I consider the "hood" the frunk, only because that is the way it has been on all my other vehicles over the years! The larger crest is on the hood/frunk and the smaller crest is on the trunk lid, where I press down to latch it closed.

Who says? Porsche
I meant no offense. Both crests look great! I just tend to keep things OEMish but I’m a self admitted hypocrite because I’m the OP on the original non-OEM bezel thread.

No offense, and if I reported this post it was in error...I clicked the wrong button! Anyway, I do not think I have ever left a vehicle OEM!Larry C wrote: Tue Feb 01, 2022 10:28 am Who says?
