That is serious progress, I love it.
I think everyone that can should treat themselves to a proper finished garage

Fantastic! I like it a lot - that's a Porsche driveway if there ever was one.

Recommendation: Seal the pavingstones after they are finally set with grout sand. Especially with that light color, which looks spectacular by the way. The sealing will slow the accumulation of tire marks, they will wash off a lot more easily, plus it stabilizes the sand so it doesn't wash out. I reseal ours every couple years as needed. Darkens the color slightly but keeps it even. We have a sloped driveway so more sand movement if I don't stay on top of it.

we are scheduled to have the pavers sealed in a month. Both the installers and the sealer guy recommended waiting a month. We should be able to get the cares into the garage today.

I’ve decided that I’ll use SwissTrax flooring for my 900sf garage slab. Main reason is that we play sports in the garage especially during the long winters here, and I think the tiles will be easier on the knees while still allowing basketballs to bounce properly. Any final words before I order them? (I figured I can get porcelain floors later on).

Do you park in the garage in winter?
Would all those openings allow a mess to collect ?
I did not even consider them for a Canadian winter for those reasons.

I have never parked my daily driver cars aka my winter cars in the garage for countless reasons simply because:P_Coastal wrote: Mon Aug 05, 2024 11:20 am I would consider:

I do not need salt wrecking my garage floor.
I do not want damp air and salt anywhere near my motorcycles or other cars.
I do not want my daily driver rusting faster than they should and that is worse in a heated garage.
I like a clean and clutter-free garage because I do some serious work in it. Stuff is stored in a garden shed.
And I am not lazy enough to brush the snow off my car.

Good points. I think the open grid design should let the debris go under and I can hose it off and out of the garage?P_Coastal wrote: Mon Aug 05, 2024 11:20 amI would consider:cp99 wrote: Mon Aug 05, 2024 11:11 am I’ve decided that I’ll use SwissTrax flooring for my 900sf garage slab.
