And at the price you paid vs the "you've got to be kidding" price of the Weissach Titanium versions, there is zero doubt that you did great. Really great, actually! (I had no idea the factory GT4RS styled versions were so expensive. Just crazy.)
What did you do with your 718 this week?

The exhaust tips look good Jeremy!

Your new tips look perfectly sized and what Porsche should have originally designed.J-Dub wrote: Fri Aug 16, 2024 4:08 pm So I have never loved the exhaust tips on my 718, they are oval but not in a good way. When the GT4RS came out with the tips that look a bit like a turbine I got excited... until you saw the price.

There was some that popped up on Aliexpress that are just over $300 and look the part, if there was a criticism is they are a bit small and don't fill out the opening.
Last weekend a guy posted that a set he had custom made were for sale as he was parting out his mods as he was selling his car I decided to go for them.
Trial fit, left side is the new and right side is the OEM. Dark picture as I did the trial at night after work.

I have not messed with the alignment much yet but am happy with the placement. There is room to move them fore and aft just like the stock tips.
RGS front bumper grills showed up today, they look good, the octagons look the most OEM of any grills I have seen in the marketplace. Will likely attempt install this weekend.
Do you have any info regarding where they were sourced?

Soul doesn't sell shoddy products, so I'm sure they are well made. Regardless, the OD would be the determining factor for me (i.e. how well they fill out the valance exhaust opening). The same or similar OD as the OEM tips wouldn't be sufficient to convince me to change.Larry C wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 7:24 am What do you all think of these? I wish there were some better photos.

I'll second your comment regarding Soul Performance - excellent quality and good people to deal with if you ever need to get with them directly.Treemagnet wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 7:46 amSoul doesn't sell shoddy products, so I'm sure they are well made. They look awesome! These are the kind I am going to be getting as well (the turbine look). Not sure how mine will look since its a base 718 so they will be side by sideJ-Dub wrote: Fri Aug 16, 2024 4:08 pm So I have never loved the exhaust tips on my 718, they are oval but not in a good way. Thanks for the comments guys on the exhaust tips guys, I am really liking them more and more as I get used to them. I don't have many more details on them as these were custom made for the guy, the outside diameter is 114mm. My factory tips are approximately 110 by 90mm.
Here are the Aliexpress ones, these are the ones I would have gotten if the others had not presented themselves to me

I also installed the RGS grill guards, I don't know why I was so resistant to this mod. These make the front end look SOOOOOO much better to my eye.

The RGS grills do look good. You (and others here) have convinced me that I should probably do them on the black GTS.J-Dub wrote: Sat Aug 17, 2024 1:26 pm Thanks for the comments guys on the exhaust tips guys, I am really liking them more and more as I get used to them.
