Aww thanks Tom... I don't post much here, but maybe - I should post more? But... To be honest?

The original vision of Rennlist (née: PorscheList in 1998) was all about a car community simply talking about our P'Cars. Just sort of like.... No, rather...

Exactly like your community on CarPokes.... In other words...

It's about our cars and shared passion... And to that point...

It's rather not about watches, politics, guns, hidden forums, Admins "shadow banning" folks for their political views and instead, promoting bigoted views and racially motivated messages. To be honest? I'm proud of what Rennlist once was - and the folks who contributed through the years.

And yet, for that - I'm ashamed of what it has become.

To you and others here? Carry on in this community - it is a refreshing bent on what a Porsche Community is all about...It's all about the cars and our shared passion. Simply - that's all there is.

Humbling praise from the Yoda of car forums. Thank you Sir. Seriously, thank you for everything. You set a standard that will never be matched! By the way, I think you still have full Admin powers here, so if you ever have a hankering to add a "Taxidermy & Tae Kwon Do" forum, I think you could. But please don't. ;)

You and the folks here deserve the accolades - certainly not me... And too....

For the record.... If I EVER to add a "Taxidermy & Tae Kwon Do" Forum? Please - for the love of gawd - just ban me..?? You'd have to know I'd tipped the scale on senility..??

Anyway - carry on, Tom... Carpokes is what other sites should aspire to become... No nonsense. Just a "Community of like-minded P'Car nuts.."...

Wait...?? Did you say I still have Admin rights??? Hang on....

Well - there is a blast from the past - Hi Rich!!!

Do you still have your Lifetime Certificate? I think I remember all the Rennlist Lifers - you included... As for the shirts... The Denim stitched shirts or the T'shirts? Yea - we did both for a bit.?? Those were the days, my friend... And oh - the "Rennlist Racing" shirts we did with The Racers Group for Daytona and LeMans...

Rich - thanks for the walk down memory lane... It was well worth the trip...!

And it's awesome to see so many Rennlisters here...

Ha, ha. Me too... RL Lifetime Member, for whatever that's worth today. Had a lot of fun at the Porsche 50th celebration in 1998 at Laguna Seca, and the group get together at Baja Cantina.

Hey John, I'm doing great for an old geezer, ha, ha. Hope you are too. As you can see, I still have the car bug. Just bumped up the power in the Golf R to around 400... but the old 944s are still great fun to drive... just can't beat the Porsche driver-car connection. Cheers!

John of course I still have my certificate, framed on on my home office wall, where did those 26 years go?😀 I have the long sleeve white shirts with the PorscheList printed on the arms.
Stay well all us “old timers” 😀
