Hi my name is Hagen and I am from Germany. I am 24 years old and I own a 944 1983 since one week which I imported from czech republic. I saw a video about a 3D printed belt tensioner and would like to have one

Welcome Hagen! You can also download the file(s) and have your own 3D printed in Germany.
I live in the DC suburbs of Northern Virginia and have been a Porsche owner and PCA member for about 25 years. It all started in 2000 with a 944, and along the way, there were eight more Porsches, including a Cayenne, several Boxsters (mostly S models), and now, a 1991 944 S2. Until now, the S2 has been completely stock. However, I am preparing to upgrade the suspension with M030 components, add 17" wheels and tires, change brake hoses, and a few more items to refresh or upgrade. Ultimately, I am looking to do some autocrossing and HPDE events.
G'day to all similarly addicted Porschephiles. Resident of the Californica (sic) State Capitol (Suckatomato, also sic), I am retired from aerospace medicine and military life support/human factors areas of technology and particularly fond of that VW/Porsche 'bastard child' known as the Typ 47 (914). My attraction to 914s goes way back to the early 70s when I was a young undergrad in the People's Republic of Berzerkeley and had a hot young nursie GF who drove a red 1972 914-4.
Before that, I was a big appreciator of Volkswagens. I've had many Käfers, Typ 2s, Typ 181s, and even a few 411/412s. I'm still a huge fan (no pun intended) of everything Herr Doktor Professor Porsche ever had a hand in designing, auto-wise, and presently keep an orange 1973 Käfer and a yellow 1974 914-4 in my stable...along with the other usual vehicular marques and types. I've had five previous 914-4s but once had a beautiful orange 1970 914-6 that I foolishly sold to a Japanese businessman after one-too-many cups of Sake ( My yellow 74 ('Jezibel') is 914 Nr. 7.
Member of PCA (of course), SCCA (SFR) and participate in the usual on-line forums focused on VeeDubs and Porsches. I'm a historian, writer (published) and Husky musher, as well. Kudos to Tom, the founder of this forum and his great idea of establishing a useful common venue for all of us.

Oski, Waski, Wow-Wow! Had a cousin who did his post-grad work at Stanford and my mother decided to attend the Stanford/Cal 'Big Game' and sat in the Cal rooter section (this was in the 70s) but wore a bright red jacket. [Note to non-California members: BIG no-no, given that red is the Stanford color!] The Cal rooters literally picked her up bodily and handed her over their heads to the exit row! Wow! She never forgot that experience!
Those were good times, back then! PS: I'm strictly an 'air-sucker' fan but always had a covert attraction to the 944!
