Rain is the great equalizer . Lots of crash damage in qualy many teams will be thrashing just to make it to the grid . The announcers were saying Williams may have to take parts from Colapinto to fix Albons car .
Looks like Alex Albons car won't make it to the grid . Big blow to Williams in the chase for championship points . Haas drivers will have to race their butt's off to take some points today .

Looking at the pics of qualifying in the link you provided was revealing as to just how much rain there was and how much was on the track. Verstappen caught a bad break with the delayed red flag on the last crash by Stroll. Max starting in 17th now. He was not happy.

Well Max is happy now ! What a drive from 17th to win . And how about Alpine 2nd and 3rd !!! That's a 50 million dollar swing in the constructors championship . And both Vcarb cars get points . What a crazy day and it still isn't official as I believe 5-7 cars are under investigation by the stewards .

I have always liked Sergio , but the way Liam Lawson has been running in his brief time with RB , I have to believe he will be stepping up next year and Sergio will fall back to the junior team of RB. It was surprising Liam was able to hold off Hamilton in the last portions of the race and that, to me, shows alot of promise for his future.
One of the hot rumors out there is Horner is trying to lure Sainz away from Williams . Sainz would replace Perez , that would allow Williams to move up Colapinto .
Carlos drives for a few years in a top level car and Lawson gets experience in the sister car with less pressure. It could make sense .
