Hi to all! I am a car nut.....not only Porsche but mainly Porsche. I always have 1 or 2 under construction so to speak.......Just sold my favorite, a 1965 356 SC Cab that I owned for 43 years. Looking for a new favorite! I am 72 x racer who still loves to drive! I am partially retired.....
I am looking forward to forging new relationships outside of the Porsche main stream. For whatever reason I am no longer as comfortable there as I once was. Lets get2it............

As P_Coastal said, the goal here is to enjoy auto passions stress-free.

Beautiful cabriolet! You have to be a bit sad that it's gone after so many years - I know I would be!

Welcome aboard!

Welcome aboard! I'm not sure the online Porsche mainstream is very mainstream anymore. You're not alone -- that's why we started Carpokes! Great to have you!

Hi all,
I've wanted this since I was about 8 years old. Mostly want to lurk around and learn. Despite a lifelong obsession and having read several books & guides, I realize I know nothing. And each one I read makes me realize I know even less than that. Thanks for having,
-josh

Josh,
Welcome to Carpokes. I bought my first Porsche three years ago just before my 67th birthday. I’m enjoying my car and learning something new each day. Thanks for joining!

Hey Josh! You are not alone - we are all learning a little bit more every day. Also, many of us here are refugees from other marques and Carpokes is as good a place as one could hope for to enjoy the Porsche all-levels knowledge quest.

Welcome to the site and thanks for joining up!
