Name: Tim Kelly

Location: Lake Geneva, WI

Current cars: 2022 Targa 4S, and on order is a 2025 718 Spyder RS (can't wait for rest, Feb. 2025 delivery!). Additionally, I own two Ford Model Ts (1917 and 1919), two Model As (1928 and 1930), a 1952 British Ferret Armoured Scout Car (possibly the oldest one in existence), and a 2023 Lexus LC500 convertible.

Occupation: Retired from a career in private equity; currently and Investor-in-Residence at the University of Chicago/Booth graduate school.

First Porsche: 1975 928 S which I traded for a 1982 928 S. Both were early Bosche Fuel Injection and difficult to repair/maintain so sold the 1982 to a friend who still enjoys it.
Welcome to Carpokes Tim from another Tim!!

Outstanding lineup of cars. The Model As and Model Ts are intriguing, for sure, as well as the Armored Scout Car. Would love to see pics of all - and yes, the Porsches of course. ;)

Easy to post pics on Carpokes. Here's Tom's photo posting guide in case needed:

I had a fairly decent 1967 Kaiser M35A2 deuce-and-a-half for a few years. Wanted to get it painted and somewhat restored but that never happened so she went to the Keys!

Hi Tim,
Very cool and eclectic car collection and exciting new about the upcoming Spyder RS. Please post photos if you’re so inclined.

Welcome Tim, and glad to have your here at Carpokes. Nice place to retire as Lake Geneva is about equidistance to Road America or Autobahn Country Club.

Hey all,

Noticed this forum when looking through 3d printed parts for my 951 turbo. Once I'm up and running with downloads/uploads I'll definitely share my files. Just finished a 1:1 version of the driver side window control trim. If only I could print the damn mirror control switch...

I might just try...

Welcome rbwies, glad you joined! I'm one of the 951 people on this sight and I think you will find some very well versed 951 people here. Be sure to check out the other transaxle threads as there seems to be a lot of cross over in the world of 3D printing interest and experience.

Hey Porsche Clan!

Just found this place from a video -
Long term Porsche owner with a medium sized fleet -
I don't have the time to spend hours working on things / taking them apart and scratching my head! ;)
So I've looking for new resources to save time on my many projects / project cars.

Thanks

Ian B. in Chicagoland.
Current lineup is a - 65,71,78,79,86,99,14,19,24
Thanks

Ian B. in Chicagoland.

That is indeed a fleet!! I can understand the need for help, but it's a nice (or at least intriguing) problem to have. Would be great to see them on Carpokes so pics would be swell.

By the way, curious what video led you here - one of Tom's from his YouTube channel perhaps?

Anyway, welcome to Carpokes!
