I am a powersports & marine dealer in Seneca, SC. Currently I own a '22 Spyder, a '18 Carrera T, and an interesting '99 Porsche 911 that has some nice mods. I've had a '13 911S cab, '10 911 targa, '09 911 Turbo, '87 3.2, '83 SC, a '87 924, and 4 other 996s. I've heard they are like Skittles - you have to try them all. My brother is a Porsche fan too and has gone through his share as well - we talk porsche often - and neither of us can decide what to own - for me - ideally just one car, but maybe 2. I think I'd like a 992 and a 993 in my garage but I have to sell a few to make room. Porsche's give me pleasure and anxiety - right now more of the latter! I think I want to start with selling my Carrera T. But who knows - I do know that I watch too much Porsche YouTube because my wife tells me so. Happy New Year - may your Porsche dreams come true in 2025!
Cheers,
KVM

Great post and I love the skittles line! You've had an extensive Porsche history which is fantastic! Powersports and boats - another great bit of fun and relevance to this kind of group, especially true for those of us around lakes and other bodies of water as many of us are.

We're glad you joined up - Welcome to Carpokes!

I live in a great area of wonderful roads - not far from the Tail of the Dragon and other mountain routes. I do get to middle TN as my son lives in Nashville

Welcome aboard. In a lot of ways, you speak for a lot of us! I saw a base '99 996 today, and had to stop to admire it. And when it drove off, it sounded like an air-cooled car. I think the 996 will have its day....
