If you are getting a 944 turbo to make money…..that’s your first mistake!blade7 wrote: Thu Feb 13, 2025 9:00 am I know of 3 944 turbos that were gone through from top to bottom. Shell, paint, suspension, interior, engine, gearbox, wheels, wiring, big power output. 2 of those owners took a beating when they wanted to sell. The 3rd that has probably had the most spent on it, still isn't finished. Want to make a small fortune building a 944 turbo, start with a big fortune.
In addition to your small fortunes comment - the best way to become broke is to buy a cheap 944!!
Almost sounds like you are somehow disappointed in the way things go with 944s. decades ago my track friends pointed out I could have had a 911 cup car for what I spent in the 944 turbo. They were correct….but I would still rather have MY 944 turbo. 944 turbos are not economical and that’s fine…. unless you were thinking you would make money on one.
First rule of 944 club – do not add up the receipts!
