Hi Everyone,

I bought my first (own) car in February and it is a ´86 944.
Im based in Karlsruhe, Germany and I´m looking forward to talk to some expierienced people, since my car already broke down and it won´t be the last time I guess

Since I´m really close to the Porsche HQ and with me working in the automotive industry, I admired Porsches since quite a long time (hence why I bought one as my first car haha)

Nice! Lots of great folks here with TONS of accumulated knowledge of the great Porsche Transaxle sports cars! You'll likely never be more than a few posts/clicks away from answers to any questions you might have.

Since you are in Karlsruhe, have you visited the Porsche Plant Zuffenhausen just down the road from you. I can understand why you love Porsches , you are right on the doorstep of the Plant and likely see one daily! Glad to have you as a new member mein freund .

Actually I do, because my neighbour drives a baby blue 911 Targa. But in this area a "lot" of people drive Porsches.

A kinder gentler placed to talk about Porsches.... what a treat, thanks for creating this environment! My love affair with Porsche started over 50 years ago when I bought a new 1972 914. My garage has seen many 911's and Boxster/Cayman derivatives since then come and go. I have settled into the 718 series now and couldn't be happier...
