It's all over, u can't just lift off. They have 5 or 6 stations that are monitored electronically and I haven't made enough friends there to locate them individually.
The black flag station is around turn 13/14 before coming past the pit in.
The limit is 98db's measured 50ft from the center of the track.
I did 2 track days out there in my .2 GT3RS with the exhaust turned on and didn't have any issues. I understand from a couple guys that if it is overcast sometimes the they trip the meter a bit more.
Just my experience. HTH's

There were 2 GT4's there the other weekend with 4 GT3RS's and no one had issues with black flags... that's interesting u are having issues. One of the 3RS's even had Sole Exhaust (center section) too and he was on it in the 1:32's with stock rubber.Spicyeggrolls wrote: Sat Mar 05, 2022 5:15 pm Hello everyone, I currently have a 981 GT4 and am having trouble passing sound at Atlanta Motorsport park. Anyone have any experience with it there?
Do u have aftermarket exhaust etc?

Haha wow small world. Yep I was there in the one of the GT4s and got black flagged twice in the earlier sessions. I was shocked because that GT3RS was so loud. Maybe it has to do with the pitch of my exhaust? I’m currently running Soul catless headers and just factory PSE. I ended up shifting at 6k the rest of the day.ryancassidy wrote: Sun Mar 06, 2022 10:18 amThere were 2 GT4's there the other weekend with 4 GT3RS's and no one had issues with black flags... that's interesting u are having issues. Could be.. I honesty don't know how it gets tripped as I was letting her eat til 9k several times each lap. But 100% stock exhaust for me + sharkwerks tips. The guy with the 3RS and the Soul exhaust told me he didn't get flagged at all. The other 2 3RS's I'm not sure about. There was a GT3 in PTS grey that was on it too and didnt get flagged.
Maybe like u said it was the tone that did it and we are just really really close but not over. I didn't realize u got flagged. Road Atlanta is less restrictive FWIW, but that's a completely different animal than AMP. AMP was a blast and I'm trying to get another day out there soon.
This was on the 26th for reference.

If comes hard-coded with up to two locations, which cannot be changed or erased. In addition, you can program any additional locations you like via the user program function. Once you set a user-programmed location, it stays in the unit unless and until you change it with a new user location. At any given time, the unit can only have one user-programmed location, but you can change that location as often as you want, to any location you want.larry wrote: Mon Jun 13, 2022 8:27 pm Is the unit storing a list of GPS locations, or a single one that you replace each time you need it?
I have a used Track Nanny for sale! I had it installed on my 991.1 GT3 for about 6 months but I am selling the car. Thunderhill and Laguna Seca are pre-programmed and it works great. GPS antenna included. Like new. $350 shipped

Getting a new track car?
To help with the sale, if a Carpokes member buys it, I'll reprogram the home location to whatever two locations they need -- no charge (other than shipping costs).
