I've been quietly working on an all-new timing belt tensioning tool for many months now, and thought is was time to share its status and get a little feedback. Unlike the 3D-printed tool, this one works on both the 8 valve motors and the 16 valve motors and boasts 24-bit digital precision. It should work just fine on the 928 as well, since it is dimensionally similar to the factory tool. I'm still working on the machine work and software, so it will be several months before I'm able to ship, but it is a high priority so should not be too long. With the factory tool being out of stock just about everywhere, and used ones going for upwards of $1,000, the time has come.... Feedback welcome and, as always, it will be available exclusively to Carpokes members -- so if you have not yet registered an account on Carpokes, here's another good reason to register today! Tell your friends. :)

Haven't sorted out the cost yet -- depends in part on how many I cases I have CNC'd, since the price per unit goes down pretty dramatically with volume. Definitely way less than the factory tool! What price sounds right to you all?
