I’m cheap! Here’s what I’ve been doing. I use CarPlay and listen to Sirius or Pandora from my phone via CarPlay. My Sirius subscription is through my wife’s BMW so we get Sirius at no additional charge via the app on our phones and I tolerate the commercials on the free version of Pandora.

I had a similar problem. I explained the problem to my aservice Manager. He checked on the antenna orientation and adjusted it. I have not had a problem since.

No issues for me in a 992. When it’s cloudy or sunny, I get reception.
Going thru a tunnel—well, yeah it drops out.

I’m up by the 49th parallel—Canada, so maybe the satellites get more direct coverage there? Doubt it though.

I’m frugal, especially with Sirius and our cable company. However, unlike Spectrum (cable provider), if you call Sirius, they will decrease your annual subscription to a ridiculously low amount. I think I pay about $7-8 per month.🤗

This is true. Always do this and negotiate. Works for me as well.

If you don't threaten to quit, you'll never get the "best" price from Sirius.

How did it go? I really have a problem with reception...where is the antenna anyway?

The Sirius in my 992 gets great reception... Maybe we're just well positioned under the satellites, but I'd have the dealer look at it. The only time I ever have an issue is at one particular stop light where there is one of those huge cell towers bombarding everything with cell tower magic. On the other hand, I got like 250mb speeds on my iPhone at the same light.... so there's that...

Do you have a copy of the service record you could share so I can show my dealer?
