Wow - they all look good, not to mention the cars that they are applied to.

They all look great, not to mention the cars they are attached to.
I wanted to keep the OEM stickers as long as possible and asked my installer to ppf over. The results are subjective, but I quite like the slightly raised look of the stickers and would do it again.Tom wrote: Fri May 02, 2025 8:07 pm For what it's worth, my guy put Suntek over the decals and they look great. I hear other films may leave more of a gap and not look right, so probably best to trust your installer.... I'm with you on the factory decal. When I first got my turbo s, with a similar color scheme, I thought the red stripe seemed 'short' and was looking for someone to add to it like in the photoshopped version below. Carrera Design didn't come up in my search, but I'm make a mental note for next time. Hoping the 992.2 turbo comes out soon, so not sure it would be worth the effort now, but I do like this look...

A friend's new '25 CXX-equiped 3RS was done the same way as yours when it arrived a couple of months ago. He also had the 3RS lower door side stickers (a CXX option) covered and everything not only looks great but the factory stickers are all well protected.

The extended stripes really look great, particularly the “connections” with the bumper stripes.RDMcG wrote: Fri May 02, 2025 1:08 pm When I took delivery of the 992 I wanted to have the car PPF and Ceramic coated. My supplier mentioned that the side stickers would look strange under the gloss finish and suggested that I get a replacement set that could be applied on top of the finish. I was not too impressed with the original stickers anyway - they were way too short and I had seen longer ones on a few special cars, so I ordered them in the original color, Pyro Red. I got them done by Carrara Design in the US who do amazing work. ( No connection except as a customer)
I had the car in Germany/Austria for a while this Fall and did my usual week at the Nürburgring. However, I have a habit of adding a single Ring sticker to each car that has been there with me (six so far). The problem was that there were no stickers in Pyro Red. I called Anthony at Carrara Design and asked if he could make one for me. Sure enough a perfect sticker appears this week. I think I may be OCD:)..........

Nice work!!!
Tremendous photo, Sabine at her best and happiest place.RDMcG wrote: Mon May 05, 2025 5:06 am Yep- Used to see her here and there at the Nordschleife for about 20 years of going there. I had her drive my 7.2RS which was memorable. Still feel a touch of sadness when I pass the corner (formerly T13) which is now named for her.

Awesome experience and memorable moments you have
I’m curious about the transport of your car to Europe. Friends have invited us over to participate in a number of driving excursions and know how much fun that would be, as well as a drive on the’Ring.jsbarstow wrote: Sun Jun 01, 2025 10:32 pmThe extended stripes really look great, particularly the “connections” with the bumper stripes.RDMcG wrote: Fri May 02, 2025 1:08 pm When I took delivery of the 992 I wanted to have the car PPF and Ceramic coated.
