Important Free Software Update for Your Taycan Now Available at Your Porsche Dealer
Not a perfect start. Haven't had any other issues with the car yet and wasn't planning on going anywhere really over the next few days, so not a big deal as of now, but will be if I need a major part right now

Oh no sorry to hear, this is fear of taking my car for update. Hope yours get resolve soon. keep us postedmrbeaubo wrote: Wed Mar 16, 2022 12:36 pm Well, whatever they did broke my car. I no longer have power outside of basic acceleration. They are opening a case with Atlanta.
Got the car back, per the dealer: "Apparently on the Turbos the recall causes the car to lose coding. Just a matter of re-coding the whole car."
Not sure what exactly that means but the car is running perfectly. Is there any way for me to confirm that the update was done?

I think the update reset what the system "learned" about my driving, so I'm waiting to see what it does here in the short term after driving a bit. Haven't really gone anywhere lately, but going on a road trip next week so will see how it does.VA_CT wrote: Sun Mar 20, 2022 11:05 pm Not sure. good to know the car is back to normal. Have you seen any increase in miles?

Dropped my car off yesterday for what was supposed to be "3 software updates" as per the SA plus an installation of the parts required to complete 2 of the 3 open campaigns on my car that have been unresolved since delivery (evidently the second key fob is still on indefinite back order). While there I also mentioned to the SA that I'm having a recurring problem with the alarm going off.
Fast forward to 36 hours later and I just received a call that NONE of the parts purportedly available in their dealership to resolve any of these open campaigns are, in fact, in-stock and the alarm issue has been traced to a faulty sensor which of course needs to be ordered.
I had high hopes that most if not all of these issues would be addressed but it would appear that the only thing they accomplished is the aforementioned software updates...

Yes, and just took it on a road trip and no issues. I'd be more inclined to say the dealer messed up something in the process vs. the update being broken, to be honest.

I took my car for SW update and got it back this evening. Drove about 50 miles and so far so good. Similar to @vdr , i had 1 more open campaign to fix the alarm issue and they didnt have parts in stock. I was told my SA the parts are in back order, dont have timeline when they will get it.
