Who's running one?
My new 3.0 16V turbo build has started. Motor is disassembled and it's confirmed to be a solid motor to build up. Header is ordered, wiring harness and new MaxxECU is ordered from Bas as will be his CF intake. I'm shooting for a 550whp outcome so I can stop being jealous of everyone with more power than I have, lol! If you have more than that, good for you but I'm good there.
I'm considering a G30-770 with either a .86 or 1.0AR but am interested if anyone is running the Xona Rotor turbos. If yes, what motor and power are you at and what are your thoughts on them? I know @chris white sells them so I'm happy to see any input from him as well.

That’s why I’m looking for people that are running them. They’ve a strong following with 996 and up owners and in the import tuner world. I’m waiting for Chris White to get me some numbers about what he offers and maybe he can point me to some of his builds.Evan wrote: Fri Aug 15, 2025 5:39 pm Solid build. For 550whp, the G30-770 is a good choice .86AR for quicker spool, 1.0AR for top-end. Xona Rotors are great too; They’re efficient and smooth, but less common than Garrett.
Garrett have a really good article on how to do the calculations for turbo sizing and how to apply them them to compressor maps.
A lot of the off the shelf turbo offerings out there seem to be designed around high revving 2.0L 4 cylinders or big V8's. I was really impressed with the compressor map Chris posted, the efficiency in the sweet spot for a 16V 3L was much higher than anything Ive seen but then I am also not an expert in turbo sizing.

I just got off the phone with my local buy, for me he recommends the Xona 6264S, but that allows me to run 750whp..
A 5962 for you would be a great fit from Xona Rotor.
On your new X-over pipe; it needs to fit this turbo too..

I haven’t used one but I was speaking with Hank at IROZ regarding these and he swears by them. Dude is super smart so I take what he says more seriously than I would others. I have a build planned with a 6870-equivalent so we will see what she does.
