Hi Tom, Bob Z sent me here for your awesome plate mount! I've got a 2022 Cayman GTS on order that's currently scheduled to be delivered on 10/1/21. I do track events, and your solution is genius! What was Porsche thinking? Now I just need to keep the dealer from screwing in the license plate before I pick up the car! :-)

I'd actually like to order two (2) sets of your mounts; one for me, one for a friend with a 718 Cayman. My car is GT Silver, his car is Gentian Blue. (I think two sets of black mounts will look fine, since you can't see the mounts when the license plate is installed....but I'll defer to your judgement.)

PM Sent!

so it does look like new users need to hit at least the 3 post threshold first and thats when the PM function becomes available. Same thing happened to me earlier this week, and it looks like the exact same for the recent posters based on their post counts.

just fyi for all. 8-)

Thanks all. Here's what I'll do for now. My standard price has been $45 a set (shipped USPS Priority in the US) for 3D printed mounts. As a way of saying thanks for becoming a Carpoke, I will offer one set (in black) per member for $30 a set (shipped USPS Priority in the US) until the end of the August. Each additional set will be $45 shipped. As much as I'd like to just give them away to folks who sign up and post here, my printer couldn't keep up I'm sure. (Working on that....)

If you want a set, please send me a PM if you haven't already, with:

1) The year and model of your car(s)
2) How many sets you need (per car if multiple cars)
3) Any special color requests. No promises on colors, and they can take longer since it required changing out the plastic in the machine to run a special set, etc., but if you really want a color, I'll do my best. :)
4. Your email address for purposes of sending a PayPal invoice

I will keep a list of pending orders in the first post of this thread, just to help me keep track and so you can make sure you're on my list. Hope that works. Suggestions/feedback welcome....

p.s., if you post a lot, refer others here, or otherwise actively help get the word out about Carpokes, I reserve the right to charge you less and/or comp you a set. :)

No, that's just one of the many quirks of this forum platform. It puts PM's in the 'outbox' until they are read. Once read, they move over to the 'sent' file. No idea who thought that was a good idea or why. It's on my list, but deeper in the system so may be harder to hack. I just need to find 'outbox' somewhere and replace it with 'unread' or the like...

I did get your pictures though, and have to say those measurements look identical to my 991.2 and every 991 I've seen in person. I'm starting to wonder if they had more than one bumper back then or if maybe some aftermarket company made them with bigger bosses. At any rate, how about I send you a set of standard 991 rear plate mounts and, if you have any problem, we can sort it out.
