Only944 shifter review
I just installed the only944 short shifter and replacement linkage in my 86 NA car. And what a difference in feel. Worth every penny and the struggle of getting the linkage on with the damn cut 11mm wrench Lol. If you are even thinking about it just do it.. All the slop is gone

I’ve been using the Only944 shorter shifter and linkage for 4 years and 5,000 miles with no thoughts of switching back to the OEM setup. It really transforms the driving experience.
A couple years ago the side-to-side lever movement started binding up a little, so I lubricated the heim joint with some high pressure grease, no issues since then. Apparently the older joint, like the one in mine, featured a plastic race that has since been replaced with a metal race to prevent this from happening. Kyle of Only944 offered to replace the part free of charge. Great product backed up by a great company!
