I have indeed thought of other power units. If I were to be unfaithful I would consider the i5 option. But having spent sooooooooooo much $$$$ on these #$%^&^%$#%^&*ing Porsche i4 motors it kills me not to finish. Plus there would be quite a few more dollars required to convert. The carrot that dangles in my brain says "Well you only need a crank and some rods..." but I've only needed 'X' in the past as well. I reason that if we'd only just had a mechanical gauge we could have adjusted the dry sump pump and increased the pressure sufficiently. This should never have happened and therefore I think "maybe, just maybe....one more time".
